If coming from the City Centre direction on the N4, take the sharp left turn approx. 1.5 miles after the Liffey Valley S.C. which is immediately after the footbridge approximately 100 yards before the Texaco filling station/Foxhunter Pub. This is Ballyowen Lane and Hermitage Park can be seen at the bottom of the Hill. Follow the road around to the roundabout. Turn right and the Clubhouse and Car park is on the right.

Alternatively, take the slip-road left at the Texaco filling station/Foxhunter Pub off the N4. Take the left at the traffic lights/T-junction at the top of the slip-road, then turn right at the second set of traffic lights (the first set has a left-only turn and the second is a crossroads). The Clubhouse and Carpark are approximately 200 yards on the left hand side of the road.

Buses

Take any of the Lucan/Leixlip/Celbridge bound buses. The following buses pass via the N4 and the stop is just before the Texaco petrol station and Foxhunter pub, just after Ballyowen Lane: 25,25A, 25X, 66, 66A, 66B, 66D, 66X, 67, 67A, 67X.

If coming from the Leixlip direction on the N4, take the sliproad left around 1/4 of a mile past the Newcastle Road/Adamstown crossroads towards Woodies DIY. At the top of the sliproad, take a right onto the bridge. Go through the lights and keep going until you come a major crossroads. Take a left turn at this and the clubhouse and carpark are approximately 200 yards on the left hand side of the road.

Buses

Take any of the City Centre bound buses from their terminus. The following buses pass via the N4 and the stop is at Hermitage Golf Club just across from Ballyowen Lane: 66, 66A, 66B, 66D, 66X, 67, 67A, 67X.

If coming from the Castleknock/Blanchardstown direction via Lucan village, go over the River Liffey bridge and take a left at the roundabout, continue up the Old Chapel Hill through the traffic lights and take the right turn at the second set of lights just before Woodies. Continue over the bridge and take the left turn at the crossroads. Continue approx. 200 yards and the carpark and clubhouse are located on the left hand side of the road.

Buses

Take the 239 bus service and this will leave you at the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre. Hermitage Park is approximately 10 minutes walk towards Lucan via the roundabout past St. Lomans Hospital.

If coming from Rathcoole, Naas area, head for the N7. On the N7 inbound, pass by Browns Barn and take the left sliproad approximately 200 yards past the turnoff for Browns Barn. At the top of the sliproad turn left at the roundabout. Note: if coming from the Blessington Road, take the new road that connects the Blessington Road to the N7 and beyond. Once you cross the N7 on the flyover, continue northbound. After a relatively long trip, through a number of roundabouts and traffic lights, you will come to The Penny Hill, LIDL, Supervalu etc behind railings on the right. Continue past these and at the next set of traffic lights, turn right. Continue approx. 200 yards and the carpark and clubhouse are located on the left hand side of the road.
